Basic investing

I found this course to very informative and well organized. I especially liked all the downloads, and worksheets. A lot of information to review since I am looking to invest with an online organization that was suggested by the Budgetnista.

Great Content!

I learned a lot about the difference between stocks, bonds, mutual funds, close-end funds and annuities. All of this info was very valuable, especially with some pros and cons listed. I really like how Ms. Wright included some assignments and some reference sheets. I really enjoyed the quiz at the end to test what I understood and absorbed from the materials. Then only thing I had an issue with was the "Where are we now? Time to take stock of current conditions" worksheet. Although there were some basic instructions on how to find the info, I had a very difficult time as I am a visual learner. Maybe a screen shot, step by step way to find info or a video would help as the students are probably pretty new and not very familiar with navigating financial resources such as yahoo Finance and WSJ. Other than that, very good content.

Great job Mary

Definitely elevated my education and thinking.

Very basic

by Charlee Bennett
Very short, but good for very basic basic learners. Con is that the end assessment is not very objective.

EXCELLENT

This is the best course by far. 1) I love the outlined material. I print it and refer to it later for reference 2) I love the videos, they start on time without 10 min delay and get right to the point 3) Clear and precise delivery of subject material..... thank you so much can't wait to get started

Good Information

Good Information; however I wish it was a bit more engaging.

Great overview

by Cheryl Crooke
This class was excellent. Mary was very knowledgeable and spoke plainly. I love the fact that the classes were given in form of reading and then reiterated with the video. Sometimes I can be more auditory in learning to finally grasp a seemingly difficult concept.

This course was really helpful with stocks, bonds and the risk. I have to learn not to rely on my emotions when investing, (I m an emotional investor) I will learn to start out conservative and have a diversified portfolio. ELEVATING MY MIND AND MY MONEY! Mary Wright was a great instructor. Thank you
